Vlissingen is one of the most popular tourist places in the Netherlands with one of the cleanest beaches.
The long boulevard of Vlissingen (more than 2 Km) and the natural surroundings make it a true holiday destination. By spending the night on the coast, you imagine yourself in a completely different world. Directly on the beach you will find Pier 7, the only real sand pavilion in Vlissingen. The pavilion has an indoor restaurant and a sandy terrace, from which you can roll directly into the sea, and even the option for take away.
Whether you want to enjoy a cocktail under a parasol on the terrace or on the beach with an ice cream in your hands, everything is possible. Even spend the night on the beach in a Beachroom for a wonderful weekend away or complete holiday. Read our booking conditions here!
Room types
Stay the night in your own beachroom!
In addition to its catering facilities, Pier 7 also offers accommodation options. A special overnight stay by the sea is possible in one of the Pier 7 Beachrooms. There are different types of Beachrooms where you can spend the night on the beach:
– 1 x 2-person Deluxe Beachroom with bath tub
– 2 x 2-person Beachrooms
– 2 x 4-person Beachrooms (2 x 2-person bedrooms)
– 2x Family Beachrooms (2 x 2-person bedrooms + sofa bed in the living room)
Features of all Beachrooms
*All Bachrooms have a private terrace with a lounge sofa on the beach.
* In the summer months, each Beachroom also has 2 private sunbeds.
* The beds are neatly made upon arrival. In the bathroom you will find luxurious (eco) soaps and shampoo (97% biodegradable) and soft towels.
* You must bring your own beach towels.
* Coffee, tea, sugar and coffee milk are available in the Beachroom, based on 2 cups per person per day. * Cleaning takes place daily between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Coffee & tea are also replenished. If you do not wish cleaning, please inform reception in advance.
*You can buy more coffee & tea at the reception. *Dogs are only allowed in the period from September 17th to May 1st. There is a surcharge of €35.00 per dog per night.
* Dogs are not allowed in the 2-persons Beachroom and 2 pers. Deluxe Beachroom. * Other pets are not allowed.
* The Beachrooms are accessible via stairs and a ramp.
* Parking is available in the nearby surroundings. You can purchase a parking permit from us for €9.50 per car per night.
* With the discount code BRVLIS you will receive a 5% discount on the rental price. Only via this website.
* You can choose to make your reservation including breakfast. An extensive breakfast buffet takes place at our upstairs neighbor, Boulevard 17. *All Beachrooms are non-smoking.
* It is not allowed to cook in the Beachrooms.
* It is not allowed to burn candles in the Beachrooms.
* For stays of 5 nights or longer, bedding will be changed.
* Children up to 2 years old can stay in the room for free. You can bring your own cot. It is also possible to rent a cot from us for € 10.00 per night.
*Please note: in the period from October 1 to April 1, we are forced to place a sand trap on the beach. This is to keep the walking path passable at all times. This may (partly) hinder your view from the Beachroom. For more information please contact the reception via frontdesk@pier7.nl
Sleeping all year round at the beach
Unique in the Netherlands!
We are the only accommodation in the Netherlands where you can spend the night on the beach all year round.
The Netherlands has stormy days, especially on the coast. A grain of sand is so light that even a little wind blows it in all directions. This means that during the storm season (in the period between October 1st and April 1st) we are forced to place a “sand catcher” next to the walking path. This way, the path remains accessible to everyone as much as possible, but your private terrace on the beach also remains as sand-free as possible.
Stay for business?
A business stay in one of the Beachrooms is also possible. Use the Beachroom as a workplace or use it for a (longer) pleasant stay with work around Vlissingen. All of the Beachrooms have a good Wi-Fi connection. During your worktime, enjoy the beautiful view or take a lovely walk on the beach!

Also take a look at the boulevard suites of Boulevard 17
On the boulevard of Vlissingen, just above Pier 7, are the 10 luxury 2-person Suites of Boulevard 17 located. The Boulevard Suites are available in various versions on the ground floor and on the first floor.
Relax in the Deluxe Ocean Suite with bath and sea view or book the Wellness Suite with infrared sauna and a sun shower on the city side. On top of that, all overnight stays at Boulevard 17 come with a delicious breakfast.
